I recall seeing him play at RB in a pre-season game way back under our EX. I thought then and said so that he is good.

Mirallas' contract has been under negotiation for a while now.

Devils advocate here but why would Garbutt sign a new deal, he's 3rd choice and that's not going to change for a long time. He's at a stage where he needs to be playing every week, not rotting in the reserves. Hope he stays, like, but I don't think people should be surprised if he leaves

Garbutt is the future.. We can't let him leave. We already have our cm sorted for the next 10 years.. A striker sorted for the next 10 years... A cb for the next 10 and our rb for the next 6-7 . Keep Garbutt and that only leaves a cb and wingers and gk....

He is a clever guy. He will sign saa new one cause he knows that he aint third choice next season

I'd say at worst he's 2nd choice now. Going off his most recent displays, I reckon he could possibly displace Baines by mid next season.
