he was great, really was. really hope he can get enough game time to be convinced to sign a new contract. oviedo slotted in very well at right mid last season, is it not so impossible to think he could be a good RB backup? we need a like for like deputy for coleman and oviedo could well be that, whilst having garbutt as backup for bianes. we'll be playing about 50 games for a good few seasons to come you would think, they'll all have plenty of playing time.

this boy can take a dead ball. i'm a big fan from the little i've seen. must start before hibbo at left back in the future.

How many other clubs have such talent coming out of the academy so reguarly. Soton, and maybe Utd. It's so important for retaining the community atmosphere and it's so great to have a constant production line

read wolfsberg had gone 25 home games without drawing blank.

we contained them with a back 5 of howard, hibbert, jagielka, distin and garbutt, with the two centre backs, a shadow of the player's they have been - albeit improving.

we were 1 last min kick away from keeping clean sheets in all 4 games vs the top 2 seeds.

In all fairness Jags has been absolutely flying the past 8-9 games now and looks as good as ever and Distin has really got his head together the last 2 games.
