I don't think he has been managed well in the last two games dropped to the bench because he isn't playing well and then thrown on to try and rescue games when we are losing

He's on the bench as he's been God-awful lately when starting. Badly managing him would be to ignore that fact and keep selecting him because of his pricetag.

Fair enough I agree so bring etoo on instead. The point I was trying to make is if your gonna drop him and rightly so do it for a couple of games and then let him start hopefully it would of give him a kick up the arse to go out and prove a point. it's like he's been benched with a view to if things are going tits up your the man to sort it and as you pointed out with his form that's not how it is.

It's more a case that we've blown the game by the time he was meant to come on anyway. Martinez has pre-programmed his subs to set times this year, a la Moyes.

He's a shadow of the manager he was last year; everything he did well went out the window in August starting with pre-season.

Again I would agree. There's a lot going wrong at the moment and I suppose it's easy for us lot to pick the bones out of each player and the manager as well. hopefull he can turn things round. Bloody Everton do my head in at times.

Just throwing this out there but it's obvious Rom's not enjoying life at the minute, lack of service no balls into the box etc, just thinking maybe we stick kone in the 9 role pushed right on their CB's and let Rom play the 10 role, so he can find some space to turn and run at them. ?????. It would force one of their CB's to come out and mark him or if they don't he has a field day.
