Just going to put this out there lads

If it's Lukaku in, McCarthy in, Fellaini out

The former won't be available against Chelsea

Good point!. I really do hope we sort a deal for Fernando, for me, he'll be a better player for us under Martinez than Felli would of been anyway, quality player!.

LUKAKU LATEST
"Another twist in the future of Chelsea's Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku. I'm told that if he leaves Chelsea don't look any further than Everton..."

there is no f*cking way we will get lukaku. He is too good - things like this dont happen to us.

ffs, he is not that good. West Brom had him last year, why not us?

Wouldn't be wetting myself if he came here like some of you. More like just kinda, meh..

Now Benteke in an Everton shirt.. that would be something worth celebrating.

Benteke would be worth celebrating but it would never in a million years happen.

If they're going to have Ibrahimovich, Eto'o, Torres and Ba competing for one place Lukaku's not going to get much game time. Chelsea probably want to keep him in the Premier League but won't let him go to one of their close rivals, so why not us?

Bill knows we wont do anything, we will still turn up and support our team. Martinez will take the heat from the fans.

Not sure there's that much to complain about at the moment. It's been clear for a long time that Fellaini wanted to leave, it looks like we've got decent money for him and we might get a few players in before the window closes.

I think £3m is excessive. Maybe Chelsea will pay his wages though.
I just don't see the value in spending 3 million for a loan when you're skint as we are. Apparently Chelsea also wanted 3 million to loan Ba to Arsenal and Arsenal refused to pay it so the deal collapsed.

so we lose Anichebe permanently and virtually spend the money to borrow another striker for just a year?

Poor business move for me.

sounds nice, but the cynic in me says the money will just line Bill's pocket.

Given the £7m-ish we've already spent this window we'll still be £8m up. We won't have touched the tv money either, so it's very difficult to see how Bill could claim that we were skint.

because we mess things up constantly. Someone like newcastle would gazump us. I think lukaku is quality
