On his day, in the mood, I wouldnt take a Striker in Europe ahead of him, honestly, maybe Bobby L like.

The problem is he very rarely seems to be in the mood and even when he is its against bums.
On his day, in the mood?

When was he ever on his day or in the mood against a top teams seriously?

getting absolutely slated on talksport by Chelsea fans - a fan tried to persevere with him but he said he just doesn't care.
You have to play though him footballwise and personally as shown (IMO) by the fact with us he didn't want the No.9, he wanted the...as he saw it...main man's shirt - the No. 10.
He won't want to meet anybody halfway.

He's not, despite the big fee, the biggest fish in the Chelsea pond, which whether he knows it or not does his head in.
Tuchel seems to kick his arse in private then make nice statements after - thus giving him a face saving 'out' if he chooses to take it...but he's still had it kicked
7 touches says he doesn't like it and has seen his arse.

He’d walk into our team.

That’s my contribution to this thread!

Hardly anyone would disagree with that. My stance was always he is fine for us and other teams like us, he will bag goals against the dross and get you in around that mid to upper mid table level.

If you want to kick on from there then it's a bit more challenging as you are effectively playing the best teams with 10 men.

I agree mate, even in big games for us he was largely anonymous or left his finishing boots at home - SF v Mancs.

He’s just a good striker in my opinion. Maybe two brackets below lewandowski, Haaland etc.

I’ve always thought of him as the big lad when you where kids who used to over power everyone and score 100 a season , if he’s against you everyone’s saying “he’s a ringer or he’s deffo over age”. But then when the other lads start filling out he’s suddenly not as prolific and lack of technical ability catches up with them

I seen a picture of him a while ago as a 13 year old doing the coin toss with the oppo captain, he must have been at least a foot taller than the other lad ?

EDIT: I put enormous instead of anonymous, quickly changed haha
