Rodgers claimed that Suarez was being helped by a sports psychologist to curve his biting and other issues. Rodgers said that Suarez bit Chellini because he was with the Uruguayan national team and not therefore, under the influence of LFC's sports psychologist.

"Liverpool sent a sports psychologist to see me in Barcelona after the Ivanovic incident, and we spent two hours talking about what was going through my head at the time. He said I could see him again, but I resisted".

Oh dear, so Suarez declined to see the sports psychologist, the one that Rodgers claimed had helped him. Rodgers was telling yet another porkie to protect Suarez because of how important he was to LFC and to deflect criticism from himself for doing nothing to help Suarez. What a blithering buffoon Mr Clever really is.
