Well it makes sense if Diaz is a straight replacement for Richarlison and we can only afford Diaz with the Richarlison fee.
Of course I haven't got a clue what's happening but that is the only way of making sense of what the Portuguese press are apparently saying.

Just seems very far'fected. All the reports suggested it hinged more on James and absolutely nothing was mentioned about him being a potential Richarlison replacement. All this came out not long after Benitez already said that Richarlison would be going nowhere anyway...
This is another example of the Portuguese media playing silly buggers to me.
