James has potential but I agree it’s a bit underwhelming.

As we all know, the scattergun transfer policy of previous managers has come home to roost.

We may have to look for more loan signings in january.

I knew we had money issues, but I still thought we would start season with a new quality RB and a RW. To potentially have season of Coleman and Townsend infront of him. Just knocks me sick

Initial reports suggested it'd be about €21.5m + James, now its closer to €40m? Either way, this needs sorting today one way or another so we can move onto other targets tomorrow if it doesn’t happen. Just pay half of James’ wages for a year and get it done.

I'd be doing the same if I was Porto - try and get a bid upgrade, time is their only leverage.
