Also said Lukaku to Chelsea and Stones to Chelsea were done.

He gets snippets of info from Everton's connections clearly, but he has been wide of the mark before.

We'll see.

At this point it looks likely a player we found out we were interested in two days ago may be going to another club
 

He's clearly going to Arsenal to win trophies. Just think how many 4th/5th/6th place medals he can win over the life of his contract with Arsenal. Stuff of dreams.

It's not so much that, it's more the thought that this is a player Walsh has been tracking for a couple of years that we almost signed and we messed it up (again).

That Walsh had been tracking for Leicester.

Not for us.

Different club. Different style.

He wasn't going to come in and straight away tell Koeman what player he was gonna sign mate.

All of our signings so far Koeman has had past 'history' with in terms of offers or comments of liking the player etc etc (or in the case of Stek, signing him last season).

Perhaps after his success last year, other clubs simply wait to see who Walsh is in for and then they go after that player.

We should charge a finders fee....
 
Made up that Everton wasted half the summer waiting to get Walsh. His Sky Sports subscription has been invaluable in identifying obscure targets such as Williams and Bolaise.

ITK mate of mine reckons that Moshiri is in negotiations with BT to switch the internet over, so Walsh may be able to watch the Champions League on his iPad soon, too.

Could it not be true that if Everton tried to wrap up the deal sooner then Arsenal would have just come in then? Or is there some kind of window within the window and it was our turn a few weeks ago to finalise deals and nobody else could jump in late?

Have we messed it up though? We have gone in for him and by all accounts the club have agreed but the player is thinking. Arsenal may have come in for him now and he knows they are in the CL.....no brainer not a mess up.

We're the new estate agents of the premier league, we identify players, price them agree a fee..... And then give them different homes o_O :bye:
