Seems like Arsene wants a Vardy type player for whatever reason. I have no idea if that's what this guy is but reports seem to indicate that might be the case. Might be something in it then? Who knows.

Not sure what we could offer him Arsenal couldn't. And that includes playing time. He'd probably have an easier time displacing Giroud than he would Rom.

Would have been an interesting back up for Lukaku but surely Arsenal fans won't be too pleased if he ends up there. Giroud and Lucas Perez? A sign of where they are these days. People will be frustrated that another target has been missed but the lad was only going to be second behind Lukaku for the season anyway. They'll be other worthy targets I'm sure.
