He’s an older player now, and luckily we got a fantastic replacement before he went down hill, which would dirty our memory of him. Id love it if he stayed for another season as a backup, and stay with the club in a non-player job after that. He’s the perfect example of great player for us, could have left for bigger teams when in his prime, but stayed loyal through thich and thin.
One of my absolute favorite players, but shouldnt start if Digne is available.

Baines is probably the only player I’ve seen for us who was at a point arguably top 3 in the world for his position. Digne looks like a brilliant replacement for what we’ve been missing since his decline. His first touch and crossing are superb and he showed that he’s more than capable defensively, especially in that Leicester game.

Contracts mate. Not saying he would be happy to go back, but if they have any kind of paperwork saying it’s legally binding, off he goes. Was just asking because Barca never seem to sell anyone without it.

If they're gonna bring back any left back it'll be Grimaldo from Benfica, a couple years younger than Digne and he came through La Masia
