Struggling to understand people believing Baines is first choice and this bloke with his pedigree and age would be swapping Barca with evertons bench!

I love Baines. He is one of my favorite Everton players ever.
That said, had we signed todays Digne during Baines’ prime, I worry Bainsy would find himself on the bench even them. Digne is a quality player.
