Why was the last time a Scottish player is the best in Europe I wondered. Digne is no mug, he has played for PSG, Roma and Beca and has 21 caps for France at the age of 25. He is a phenomenal signing.

I'm very happy with Digne.

Tierney is an excellent player and would have been a fantastic signing. But as far as alternatives go, I think we're getting a player that is currently better and will present more of an improvement as things stand.
