A manager could set our stall out not to lose, pick up points and get us into the reasonable position you suggest, or a progressive coach might be introducing a change to a more expansive system that will take time to bring in the right players that fit. During change, we could drop points by being more open.

Things sometimes get worst before they get better. I’ll be content as long as we’re comfortable and I can see progress through the implementation of an obvious football strategy. I just want to enjoy watching Everton again.

Sounds weird but I’d expect us to pick up around 50-55 points this year and I can’t see how that drops us below 8-9th I’d expect about 50 ish scored and similar conceded

Completely agree.

I don't mind us dropping a couple of places if we can see better football , the introduction of younger players and that there is a clear plan in place for progression.

It will be nice to see us try to win games rather than not lose them
