He always had somthing to say an a strong point of view. Hope he's allowed back soon, Just a bit more mellow. As some of the stuff wrote was out of order. Good lad thou an a founder member if im correct. Would never put him in the same bracket as 'Ghost' or 'HalewoodB'.

tbh i don't know what happened with ghost, i had taken a short break from this forum and i guess i missed the drama, i recall some borderline racist statements, could someone tell me what he had done to get banned.

just curious, does anyone know suits in person? for all we know, the old suits and the current suits are 2 different people sharing a computer, one of them had a bad experience with hippies :lol:

and for the record, I never liked suits, but aside from his very recent demeanor i never really found him offensive and always thought he had a right to be here. home he comes back too, if nothing else because a wind up everyone once in a while can be fun.

being as i'm a fairly recent recruit, i didn't have the pleasure of the old sb. but, of late, i did find him a bit of an arse, tbh - but reasonably intelligent & capable of both interesting & amusing posts when the fancy took him, unlike some of the complete arseholes one can find elsewhere. however, when he got a bee in his bonnet it really stuck there! in my own experience, we had one or two differences of opinion & then in one particular thread he seemed to lose all reason & so i suggested we'd have to agree to differ (thereby receiving his stock "that all ya got?!" response), only for him a few pages later to start resurrecting my posts that he'd already disagreed with in order to disagree with them all over again!! when i picked him up on this , he accused me of having a vendetta against him. nonetheless it's a shame he's got himself banned as he could be a valuable member of this forum if he could mellow out a little & accept that these places are all about expressing & debating matters largely of opinion - it's not all about being right & having to prove everybody else wrong or having the last word. still, at least i don't think he offered to meet anybody so as to settle matters man to man, as one may see posted to much derision elsewhere on occasion.
 
Good advice there Dennis regarding Suits "mellowing out."

If he'd just relax a bit, he'd fit in just fine here and there wouldn't be any troubles at all. Perceived or otherwise.

the basic rule of these places is that it's all opinions & as they say "opinions are like arseholes : everybody's got one & everybody elses stinks!", so it doesn't make sense to get too heavy about anything on here & it's certainly asking for trouble to get personal. seems to me sb liked to pontificate a little too much, but he's not entirely alone on that score. let's hope he's a little less dogmatic when he returns.
