Guys do you all agree that Saha can't cut it anymore.. I think you either start with Yakubu or Beckford , or both upfront.

Beckfords confidence will be high now and he should defo go with Beckford up front against Wigan.(y)

He can still cut it he's just not creating his own chances like he used to. Were not the most creative in the final 3rd and he's not in the box as much as I would like, same with yak. He's out of form and has been for a while.

The minute he's back on form, he'll score.

How long do you give him though, he has started 3 games in a row and not produced anything.

Still no doubt, that he's world class if in form and firing on all cylinders. Does he still have the requested desire in him though, to get back to that level, and more importantly, can we afford to wait for that moment?

We are never going to get him firing on all cylinders - not sure if we have ever had that while he's been here. We can't wait for him, but can't see us getting anything for him, so I think keep him as an impact sub, he shouldn't be starting ahead of Yak or Beckford.

What I'd like to see, is that we get Vaughan back and pair him with Beckford during Cahill's absence. Really think it's a partnership that could work.

Pacey, Agressive and unpredictable.

Moyes hasn't handled the striker situation very well as I don't see any competition for places even though their should be. Beckford does what he can when he's given the chance. Yak got dropped for being in form. Saha is moyes 1st choice striker so threw him in straight back from injury.

Like I say, he scored 14 goals last season 90% of which he created mainly on his own and carried the team at the start if last season.

Moyes isn't getting the best from all of them and he's still changing the way the team plays. When were a poor mans arsenal we don't score. When we hit the flanks and punt balls in, we score. More times than not that only happens when moyes subs off the starting striker. If beckford starts at Wigan with Cahill next to him, don't be surprised to see him not perform as well due to the above.

He looks hungry when coming off the bench. Untill he hits form, that where he should stay. But moyes needs to create more competition for places.

He's done better for us than expected on the whole. Ever since he signed his new contract his game has gone really flat and he doesn't seem that interested. We can't afford to have a non-goalscoring lone striker unfortunately, especially being one of the club's highest earners.
