Went to every game in 70s and 80s. Great memories.

Just wondered who was Fozzy Bear? Another lookalike was a small guy who was the spit of Ronnie Corbett and I think he went to every game. Going to away games at that time there was also a few Usian Bolts lol. but lots of tough lads too. And I am sure some of the girls that you met in the pubs after getting off the train after an away match looked like Raquel Welsh. but that was defo the ale.

Anyone else seen people at the match who look the double of someone else.

Not many black men. Joe was about and another big tough mixed race lad about in the 70s. Remember Ipswich in early 70s . Police separating both sets of supporters and he just went around and got stuck right into them on his own.
Coaches to west Ham late 70s and every window got put in. We had no were to run and stood are ground. Took a hammering but he was right at the front and West Ham were shocked. Think this was the start of the eighties when we did get it together at away games.

Once, getting school bus home, some lads from big school chucked water bombs at us. We **** one and moved to the other side of the bus. Lo and behold more big school kids on the other side of the road! Took me 5 mins to get dry...

Cool story bro.

I wonder if any of the older members knew or remember my arl fella, he went to every single game at years on the bounce and was around right through the 70's/80's, he knew a few of the old hoolies on a name basis like. Graham Campbell, 6ft+ lanky lad? lived in Bootle.
