The Deulofeu loan is one of hopefully more interesting talents with a continental background adding to our team, I wonder if it the club is looking into doing something similar the other way around? Would be interesting if Evertons youngsters could get experience from Spain or Germany etc if possible.

That's a good point, rare to hear of youngsters going abroad from England. Would certianly do them some good.

Got rave reviews for their game against Gillingham, passing was exceptional apparently.

I don't think he will ever be a top 5 team in the Premier League player but I reckon he'll have a good career.

Played well against a dire side and was MOTM. However, the Bradford game he was dire and Sheff Utd he was average. I hope he plays like that against the better sides but he'll be back at Everton soon.

This was posted after the game its part of this thread http://leytonorientforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=18327 which sounded very positive.

Duffy is at Yeovil, yeah?

Relegated tonight I see. It isn't a reflection on him I don't think, I reckon he'll be back with us next year.

By far and away, Yeovil's best player for me this season. He's been consistently playing at a good level, arguably too good for Yeovil, but rest assured, 90 minutes every week is what he needed, we could have easily hooked him back mid season and sent him somewhere like Brighton and he'd have easily played every week, maybe not yet Prem standard, and could potentially go out again for me, still a solid performer. I think it also speaks a lot of Lundstram, who was brought back from Yeovil, a Championship side and then sent to Leyton Orient, a League One side.

Apparently Lundstram did well initially at Yeovil but as their season got progressively worse they started to play more direct and he became less effective, this and losing a lot affected his confidence. He returned to Everton and was sent to Orient to get his confidence back and play in a team that's winning games. I can't find the article where I read this but basically it went on to say that he is a very good player but needs to mature mentally to progress I.e being able to focus and keep playing even if the team are losing. He's still young, only 20 not all players are gonna develop at the same rate, I still have high hopes for the lad, he was playing for the Eng U20's last summer, I'm looking forward to seeing him involved in preseason this year.

Some good news regarding our lads on loan Matt Kennedy scored the opening goal for MK Dons today in 2-2 away draw at Rotherham, the Mook Dons were 2 nil up but had a man sent off. Hallam Hope bagged a hatrick for Bury in a crazy 4-4 home draw against Portsmouth, 5 goals from 7 appearances for him at Bury now. Leyton Orient won 2-0 v Tranmere at home, Lundstram played 81mins for Orient, Pennington 90 for Tranmere.

Nice to see Hallam Hope getting three goals, he seems to be the youth striker closest to getting on the bench for us after Tolis' attitude went sour (he finally went on loan to blackpool and ashn't even been on the bench last 3 games) and McAleny broke his leg last fall.

Good goals as well.

Decent header to start, half volley next and a bit of trickery for the third.

For those interested - Lundstram playing for L. Orient on SS1 now in the League 1 play off semi final.
