So is it official now? - Liverpool are the most NEGATIVE team in the Premier League

Good. Make sure everyone knows blues.

Also kept clean sheets and won games...

When the system works, its very fluid. You can attack in numbers but also defend in numbers too.

This formation got found out in the early nineties. The only reason it's worked in the past two games is that they played stoke who are turd, and then played chelsea who played with three up front in an awkward formation to accomodate a misfiring 50m striker.
Chelsea was playing two up front and Anelka as an attacking midfielder. That was the reason why Liverpool 3 man defence worked so well against them - it can be very effective against narrow diamond, that Chelsea was using at Stamford Bridge.

If Chelsea would play 4-3-3 situation could be much different, as teams playing 3 at the back are struggling to defend that kind of system, because it's never clear if you commit your central defenders to play wider or you tell your wing backs to stay back and defend vs wingers, but you need attacking width then.

And I would love to see Moyes surprising opposite's manager with his tactic and approach to the game. Don't think 3-5-2 will be a permanent solution for Liverpool, but it can work for them, as they don't have any wingers, plus many teams in Premier League still play two strikers.

And they are doing it again - Wigan is playing Moses and Rodallega up front, Liverpool will have a Kelly, Carragher and Skrtel as centre backs, with Johnson and Aurelio as wing backs.
