I wish i liked it, I don't want to dislike it, but it's just a bit crap compared to the mens.

They've improved loads in recent years - only a decade ago I was proper cringing at "international" goalkeepers.

They were amateurs by and large. Women who had normal every day jobs and did a bit of footy when they could fit it in. Now the game has evolved the goalies have got better (you also now have girls that want to play in goal, very few people set out to be a goalie.)

I have always had the opinion with football that the enjoyment gained from watching it is linked to the knowledge of what you are watching. Not the football part, we all know that, but the players to watch for, the rivalries, caring about the result etc, all these things make a huge difference.

I hate La Liga for example, why? Because I have no interest in it, talent wise its obviously a tremendous league but it holds zero interest for me because other than the top 3 or 4 clubs I don't know any of the players nor do I have a Spanish team who I watch out for etc.

Women’s football is garbage but let’s not pretend Everton do the right thing here.

We let our side stagnate from cup winners to sow seasons in second tier and only got up as a token gesture, due to expansion really.

They’ve started putting more money in now, but only reason they didn’t go down last year is cause Yeovil went bust. They lost like 45 games on the run and still beat Everton.

Don’t care about women’s football. I’m still convinced all the people that do watch it/say they watch it are virtue signalling.
If you look at the actual match going fans, it seems to be a lot of families, maybe a good introduction to the game for kids who would get overwhelmed at a first team match. I remember the first time I took my lad to Maine rd, he was 4 and spent most of time holding his hands over his ears. Also, quite a large representation of the lgbt community attend womens games. Womens football is still growing, and there are still people alive who remember when it was as big as the mens game, which is why the FA banned it for so long. There's a place for it, and the clever clubs will keep at it, because it attracts people who would normally be put off football. I was reading a Utd fan on the Caf a few years ago, and he was taking his two daughters to see City women because they really wanted to watch womens football and the rags at the time didn't have a team. That is two potential future season ticket holders lost to a rival. For the outlay, it's a no brainer as far as I'm concerned.

My husband has taken our little girl to watch Everton ladies a few times. The new facilities at Walton Hall Park seem quite good.
Its grabbed the interest of our little one and that can only be a good thing. She doesn't like all the noise and shouting at Goodison for the mens matches but loves the WSL.
Molly Pike is her favourite player bless her.
