It’s sad that we have to think this way but it’s the truth. They’ll be looking for anything to go against us.

I said it before but I'll say it again: They'll get a handful of early fouls - not tackles - laughed off by the referee (like van Dijk when he tried to assault two of our players in the first five minutes in the game he injured himself against us - haha). They'll then get few words in their ear off the referee, but we'll get the first yellow card for a challenge that is never ever a yellow card, but is given for the referee to have shown himself to have "stamped his authority" on the game.

I hope you emerge glowing and quaking with joy, as I did back in the last century when we won 4-0 there. That was the year before when we lost 5-0 and I crossed Stanley Park in tears hiding my scarf. I got married soon after and that was the end of my away games.
