Liverpool Echo Throws Dummy Out Of Pram

This whole thing could be a pretty good trial run for the board for what might* happen when/if Moyes leaves. They've been hiding behind the skirt of his good work for a long time now. Get used to it guys ... this is just the beginning if he leaves.

*Note I said "might" ... it is possible we will maintain or even improve without him. (I am not overly confident about that but that's an argument for another thread which is why I said "might" here as a concession ... not looking to argue about Moyes here.)

Kenwright must be feeling very nervous. I think there's a good chance he and his mates will be exposed on a national scale in the next year or so, assuming Moyes is off (and at this point I really can't see him staying).

He'll be accusing people of pooing on his doorstep again soon.

Never loved Prentice but after reading that today he's dropped beyond low in my estimation. The worst thing being the terrible writing in the article never mind the content. I'm not sure if that last page on the website is part of the same article. If I'd have written that ****e for school I'd have lost grades for rambling. My favourite part was mentioning some gash footballer that the RS spunked 20 million playing a few games well recently having not been able to play his own position for over a year.
It's a shame a tabloid can't fake Sheikh the club and expose what's they're truly asking for.

I can't see that happening while Phillip Green has an interest in the club. He has some very powerful friends within the media and beyond.

I can see this lot crawling out of their bunker this week on the back of that win feeling they can carry on with their dereliction of duty to press the club with any meaningful sort of questions. It's all rosy again now you see. A win against City's settled things down. They're probably right too. But they're still ****.

The right response to post would be an apology. Even f they thought they were doing a good job, this should show that Evertonians really don't think they are. Sales are dire (hence why they had to drop the Post) so maybe writing a paper the locals like might boost their sales.

Prentice and his ilk are really not fit to comment on Everton - especially as we all are pretty certain it's badly run and the asking price is ludicrous. I only wish I could make my business problems go away with the deft swipe that BK and his Echo wallahs throw to us, the customers/loyal fans/whatever epithet fits. Instead I look for a reasoned argument to work out any problems and react accordingly. I can be reactionary in private but, for the public (staff, contacts, suppliers etc) one has to maintain a strong front. I've found the solution will arrive in time and, with the goodwill of right minded people one tends to get things moving in the right direction. It really isn't rocket science and, just because those responsible for this reprehensible form of defence (of their business) believe that those who seek to discredit them are one of disloyal/stupid/wrong/ignorant/unwilling to be appeased does not mean that is actually the case. Unfortunately one discovers, eventually, that those who do the most unreasoned shouting tend to be the people who are wrong and who resent being caught out. In the case of BK and Co "me thinketh thou doest protesteth too much"
