That analogy is incredibly bad.

How is it? It's in the book, so it could be an accompanying image, couldn't it? That's your point about the image use in this article after all!

The book is several hundred pages long or several hours long, and many different things occur in said book or movie. The article discusses a few events, the most recent of which was the work Distin did with Everton in the Community. There is nothing weird about using that picture alongside that article.
OK, there's a story on the Sky Sports website right now about Lewis Hamilton talking about his new Mercedes car after spinning out into the gravel.
It's a new team for him, a brand new car in development, he's a celebrity and it's a popular sport.
The equivalent to that Echo article would be Sky choosing to use this image to accompany that story.

Don't think that is the true application in this piece, it is done under direction, to present a particular slant. Perception and subterfuge.Or the more likely option, that the article was written and the person in charge of content on the website has chosen a relevant image.
Don't think that is the true application in this piece, it is done under direction, to present a particular slant. Perception and subterfuge.
You have to remember that not everyone who reads that piece will have followed the entirety of the phone in and subsequent events. This is a definite piece of persuasive disinformation, to paint the 2 sides in very different lights, the club as victim completely.
It is quite sick when you pick through the thought processes used in this.

Nonsense.
That's a nondescript picture of some gravel. You'd be right if you had posted a picture of Hamilton's car on said gravel.
Last year, the horse-racing show Luck on HBO was axed after the deaths of three horses used in the drama series.
Nope because that'd be an actual picture of the story.
Another one - current Sky News story.
Shark Dies During Kmart Advert Filming In US
So the story has a shark, that died, a well known brand in the US, a country etc.
It also has this throwaway line.
But, surprisingly, Sky didn't run with this image for the article entitled "Shark Dies During Kmart Advert Filming In US"

Wonder why!
Your wasting your time fella, according to some on here the fella would argue with himself if he saw his own shadow.
Again, a terrible comparison.
The article is discussing fans attitudes, a key part of that is abuse which has been aimed at a wide variety of people including, most sickeningly, Distin regarding his charity work.
4/10 must try harder.
When you start using ratings you know you're in a bit of a hole.![]()
