Will need a hotel in July.

Any recommendations for hotels not too far from the station?

Somewhere nice, preferably with a bar open after midnight, but not too expensive please.

Thanks

Ive stayed at the Thistle and teh one opposite which are both really nice hotels. Whats the one opposite the Thistle near the docks??

the lisbon does over night accomodation mate- really cheap too apparently.

Cheers Danny.
I kind of need them closer to Lime St than Goodison though, as need to catch a train about 06:15 and don't want to rely on Liverpool taxis, just incase I get let down, as it's only one train I can use.

I figured stay overnight, board train, get back just before midnight, stay overnight again, then train home in the morning.

Take in a bit of Liverpool while I was there etc.
Eat, drink, and back for a cuddle at the hotel. :D

Would you take the missus there Mick?

there's a holiday inn literally next door to lime street

£130 per night though.
Bit much really.

The Thistle with b&b (not starting untill 7am, and no facilities for when we return :( ) was about £100 per night.

Any 24 hour hotels were we can get early breakfast, and late meals (after midnight) , with bar and facilities untill the early hours?

The Liner, Lord Nelson Street. Always stay there myself.

The Liner Hotel At Liverpool

£138 for 2 nights, for a kingsize, or double with smoking or not.
24 hr room service, so would be good for food or drinks providing you wanted to stay in the room.

Restaurant last orders are at 9pm though, and bar closes at 12, so bit of a downside there.

Any late night ( after midnight ) bars or restaurants near by?

Checked the Adelphi, but didn't like the reviews Chris. Sounds like it's in need of a revamp.
