Think JOB has been allright today.

But he doesn't create width. He's a CB, not a RB. He's been "fine". Point being that we need the forwards who cut inside to create separation. You get that with a threat who can pull someone away. That's not JOB.

We need a top striker and a proper right back.

The real question is if they are both not good enough what the hell are we doing buying them in the first place? Beto a little more understandable because of our situation at the time, but for Barry there is no excuse.

Thinking about it, I think Liverpool could take both there centre defends off and Beto would still have a nightmare.
His issues today hasn’t been tough defending, it’s his complete lack of ability to do anything.

Every time we turn up here, we play aimless long balls and let them come at us.

We don’t play long balls and then pressure. We just give to them and step off.

Mentality is woeful.

For once there I’d like us to play with a bit of courage - open the body out when receiving the ball and play forward. Never expect to win here but it’s the limp defeatist mode we default to. Ndiaye and grealish can hurt these - get the ball to them.
