KDH has probably been the brightest player for us today.

Grealish looks capable if we get him on the ball.

Been ok going forward dont think does enough defensively but well is not in there for that. And would expect the other two cm to adapt.

That Gravenberch goal was class. Quality finish, very painful we are again the ones on the receiving end of a goal like that.

Some of the stuff we talked about during summer becomes painfully clear this match. OBrien is a decent standin at RB but in no way good enough against worldclass opposition. He looks clueless when he gets the ball (and Liverpool let hik get the ball). Takes too long and very had distribution.

Beto... where to start? Ypu know what, I wont start. Just play Ndiaye up top and Dibling on the right.

Again, this match shows we are a team in transition. We did some good work during last summer but there was too much to do for one window. Sad but true.

Now, for the second half we should just throw the kitchensink at them and more.

It's just all so depressingly predictable...lack of urgency or attacking threat. Sloppy passing. Aimless diaganol long balls. Beto incapable of the simplest hold up play. Clearly our best options are through Grealish amd Ndiaye. Use them.

Everton was the better team towards the end of that first half. Liverpool have had two attacks and got two goals. So there is reason to be optimistic. Which obviously means they will get a deflected goal early in the second half, followed by a contentious penalty.

Think they just backed off safe in the knowledge Jake O'Brien won't be causing any harm other than to the head of the Liverpool player who is standing at the near post.

No composure from Gueye or Beto when they got chances. Same old story. Why can we not scout someone who can actually finish properly. Championship and league one strikers could do a better job than what we’ve got up front. Give Barry another go, Beto isn’t scoring today.

Should have been 2-1 Gana and Dewsbury-Hall both had decent chances, Gana in particular.
