Even if we play well there is no way the referee/ VAR officials will allow anything other than a win for the RS.
It is all to predictable and it all too boring now.
If we scored you know for a fact it will be analysed to death looking for a reason to disallow.
As much as I love Everton I wouldn't even waste my time watching

Get rarrrr into the shithouses.

Need the ref to play if fair and do his job unbiased and proper for us to have any chance.

Nailed on their dirty holes get away with murder however.

better than us, yes. miles, no.

Burnley fought them to a draw, they only won on a handball in stoppage time. Newcastle and Bournemouth both went toe to toe with them.

Their midfield is strong, anyone on the pitch can score for them, but Salah is not close to his best and Isak won't be ready for 90.

At the back, they can be gotten at.

early doors yet but if we put on our best performance - first half vs Wolves, middle of the game when we were cruising against Brighton - we can play with them.
Fair enough mate, I like your confidence. They just pissed the league and started the season with a six winning game run. The gap between the two teams is a chasm in my humble opinion.

Obvs if we do them tomorrow I’ll claim power shift.

Even if we did beat the team on the pitch there is no way the PGMOL will allow that to happen.

1 win there in 26 years, David Moyes has been there 20 times with various clubs and never ever won. Given that I don't think there is any chance we go there and win.... those predicting 4-1 or 3-0 are clearly on the wind up or massively deluded.

I'm F'in sick of living in their shadow, we are decades away from competing with them.

1 or 2 nil to them, most of the game will be their attack v our defence with Beto up front on his own unable to trap a bag of cement.
We’re massively hopeful. You can call it deluded but you have to have hope. Otherwise what’s the point?!?

All the statistics point to a familiar home win in the Merseyside derby.

Premier League•Sat 20 Sep

David Moyes has never won a Premier League match at Anfield in 20 attempts, the joint-most of any manager at one stadium without winning, while Liverpool have lost just one of their last 28 home matches against Everton in all competitions.

But Everton’s strong start to the season has been defined by attributes that seem to correlate exactly with Liverpool’s new weaknesses.

Arne Slot’s 100 per cent record does not tell the whole story. Liverpool have needed late winners in all five of their Premier League and UEFA Champions League matches, and against AFC Bournemouth and Newcastle United looked vulnerable to quick counter-attacks funnelled down the wings.

That’s because Slot’s new signings threaten to create an imbalance. Milos Kerkez has struggled on the left, Dominik Szoboszlai isn’t a natural right-back on the other side, and Florian Wirtz’s inclusion has disrupted the counter-press, allowing teams to get behind Liverpool’s midfield on the break and feed the wingers.

Everton’s wingers are in superb form; only three players have completed more take-ons in the Premier League this season than Everton duo Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye (both eight), while only Bruno Fernandes (10) has created more chances from open play than Grealish (nine).

1-Grealish-Ndiaye

Grealish versus Szoboszlai on one side and Ndiaye versus Kerkez on the other makes for two fascinating key battles.

If Liverpool continue to be as open as they have been then Everton will expect to carve out opportunities on the counter.
