Right i've had time to think and now i'm ready to give views on yesterday!
Basically rubbish, however, if Fellaini had been able to stay on i'm pretty sure we would have gone on to beat them with relative ease. Don't get me wrong Arteta is the man, but to ask him to come on in that match and replace our best player was a bit too much at this point in his rehabilitation. Just felt like the sending off actually helped them more than us.
There were just too many below par performances. I actually can't think of anyone who played well. Heitinga did OK i suppose.
Now we all have to go back into work tomorrow to be ridiculed by god damn Red fans who won't admit their own difficiencies (that may not be how you spell that!). I'd like to take at least one of our players into work with me so I can show them exactly what it's like when we lose to them.:@
At least that migt make them actually do something that looks like effort to win these games.

Rubbish.

Excuses, excuses. Just watched it again, Anichebe could have walked, he is a bum ..

Why would you do this?!

Seriously though, I know what you mean, but it's just my opinion. They seemingly targeted Fellaini knowing he was our key man. Don't get me wrong, we should still have enough to batter an average team like them, especially with 10 men!

Have stayed away since the game, because it was so frustrating to watch, and it has given me time to think.

- why put Arteta on when he is not matchfit, why not use Billy and move Piennar into the middle?
- where the hell was the passion? With the exception of Cahill none were displayed!
- Distin is not gonna be a regular, he treats the ball like a handgrenade - launch it and hope for the best. Heitinga was class and will be awesome with Jags.
- I admire Neville as a captain but not as a footballer. If he cannot get the team going in a derby there is no use for him.
- Agger and Carragher can easily deal with long balls, why oh why was that all we threw at them. Carragher was already carrying a booking, but after that booking there was no running at him at all!
- Liverpool wanted it more than we did and that is what pisses me off the most.

This is what being an Everton fan is all about, the team build up expectations with good games against Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City and just when we think we can hope for more they let us down and we come crashing down :dodgy::dodgy::dodgy:

Why oh Why do people keep asking for Peanuts to slot into the middle?!

I would of liked to see (after the sending off)

-----------------------Saha-------------------
---------Cahill------Donovan-----BILYALETDINOV--
-Piennar--------------------------------------Osman
-----------------------------------------------------
-Baines--------Distin---------Heitinga-------------Neville
----------------------Howard-------------------------

The reason is is that Liverpool were just knocking long balls through the middle and Heitinga could of slotted in the DMC role for 5 minutes with Neville coming in the middle of the back four and Osman just in the wing back.

Bilyaletdinov to do a Cahill role.

Cooled down a bit know.
Just a few observatios and questions,
Has Bains's balls into the box become as eratic as hibbo's.
Why is it that every wide man we have/Moyes has bought all want to play iside iebilly, donovan, ossie, piennarand arteta.
Has Moyes ever bought an outandout winger/wideman.
Looking back over previous games the times when our fullbacks were attacking and the player ahead of them had tucked inside, maybeBains could attack the space but not nev.
All our forwards are clones of each other no variation since AJ left so all substitutions are virtually like for like,Moyes plan A changed to plan A.
Also agree that Coleman should have replaced Nev but did'nt expect Moyes to be so bold

Even the Waiter was surprised overall. Said it ended up being "easy", was surprised by the lack of penetrating balls especially with Arteta on. He knows we dropped a bollock and never rose to the occasion and he took the spoils.

Shocking really.
