I usually like anything with an attachment to the past but really, putting that thing in a new state of the art stadium... Wouldn't that be like making an exquisite souffle and then garnishing it with a slab of lard?

The Arsenal clock is fairly cheap but it's still better than our old one. I would like to see it as a museum piece somewhere.

Architects are paid fairly well to try and blend new buildings in to the surroundings of existing buildings, they shouldn't have too much trouble fitting in a clock. If they get it wrong though it could look a bit tacky.
