Mate, really? Because I think a simple photo isn't one of THE greatest Everton photos? I'm getting a bit sick of all this RS stuff, I have different views on we're we are at, I have different views on quite a lot of stuff, and because of this I'm one of them. I promised myself I wouldn't try and defend myself amid all the accusations but sometimes it goes beyond the pale. Get a life and stop looking for RS amongst all the posts, its paranoia at its worst, also, sometimes people have different views than others.,we don't all have to sing from the same hymn sheet.

I suspect it's because you made a negative reply to an innocuous comment that then gets people's backs up.

No. One of THE great Everton photos is of a group of fans on the Gwladys Street clambering for a decent view of one of THE great Everton teams clinching the title.

I consider myself fortunate to have been there.

There's been a fella on the radio today, says he's found the Gwladys Street end clock.

Some folk contacted the club and the heritage lottery fund, and the club have said they'll pay for the restoration, with a view to displaying it in the new ground, or Goodison if it's done sooner.

The Park end clock was accidentaly destroyed but they hope to fit the Street end clock with the Park End hands.

That'll be nice for the new ground.

I remember reading an article that the guy whose firm had the job of taking them down, was told to dump them so he kept 1. There was a picture of the clock face and bits in the yard of his workshop

Obviously if it's set to 1985 Time we'd like it back please - as soon as possible.

If it's incorporated into the new or current stadium, I could imagine it'll be on show on the exterior with some information about it (like they've done with the Leich cross things at sandhills) but outside the stadium.

iirc - and I don't sometimes, it was on toffeeweb...his daughter or family were in there somewhere - and there was deffo that picture of the clock face and other bits.
