Now I know that Pip would play rb if required, but surely need to llok at getting a bit more cover, what with Jags still out for a while.

We also have Rodwell in the event of losing a CB I'd back Jack to cope with the task next season. I'd like to see an improvement on RB whether that is through signing someone like Naughton or an improvement on Pip in the holding role and Pip moving there.

I doubt we have the cash to spend a few mill of our limited budget on a CB squad filler. The Wheater's of this market are still valued at 8mill, even Dunne is going for a reported 4-5 mill.:blink:

If we lost Lescott I'd trust Moyes judgement to buy a decent replacement from the 20 mill. (y)

It's hard to think that list is so short when the only difference is that we've now lost Nuno and Lars, two players who only had about 8 games between them both.
The defence played well last year and all kept thier places, however I desperately would like to see some more back ups just in case.

Still very weak. We need to get 1-2 established defenders to get some security. Wouldn't mind an old one with 2-3 seasons left in him to be honest. Squeeze the last out of him and hopefully when he retires Mustafi and Coleman have improved enough to be chosen in front of him anyway.
