I honestly couldn't care less about the guys politics and general views on life. Good for him, whatever they are. I just wish he wasn't on MOTD because he's an objectively terrible pundit and host that drags the whole thing down and make it borderline unwatchable most weeks.

I don't have strong opinions on him as a person mate. I don't know the guy and I'm completely uninterested in finding out more about him. I just find him intolerable as a host on a football show. MOTD used to be a staple of my weekend. His horrific attempts at banter and general cringeworthy behaviour just make the show unwatchable to me. Its not just him. The peanut gallery of Shearer and co play their part too but Lineker is the worst offender I'm afraid.
