From interviews, Saha should definatly play when fit, Cahill will too, and people dropping Neville, why? Honestly, i think people just set out to blame him for no reason.

I'm not too keen on the Fellaini-Cahill partnership to be honest, where's the creativity going to come from?

If they play together we'd be tough in the middle but Yakubu and Saha would have no service through the middle which makes us one dimensional.

Osman has to be in there for me, he's got passing ability and he's creative. Maybe even Castillo who I've heard is a good passer, I've yet to see him play though to be honest.

Cahill can pass and Fellaini also, they dont need to be able to spray 50 yard passes to the Yak and Saha, the creativity can come from the wingers and fullbacks, with Cahill and Fellaini we would have 2 Midfielders that would eat up any decent cross into the box.

I think it's pretty obvious how vital Cahill is to us.

He's a guarenteed starter for me.

Yes i agree and also after spending 15m, Felliani is also, so i guess we gonna see a lot of the Cahill/Felliani Strike force!! Every corner a GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cahill can't pass to be honest, he loses the ball alot and usually keeps it simple when he's on his game. Fellaini is tidy but he's not creative nor is he great on the ball.

We need a midfielder who can get the likes of Arteta and Pienaar into the game, Osman is the man to do that. Maybe Castillo but I've yet to see him play.

I'd rather go 4-5-1 and have Cahill as a second striker.

Again also true, Cahill isnt a natural CM, hes an AM, he doesnt have the right talents to play CM, he lacks something, but i can never work out what, i agree that he couldnt play CM in a 442, but anyother formation he could easily manage with the right ppl around him.
