Line up V Stoke

I think people realise that Distin will be out for Stones, so that leaves Barry and Howard as the only scapegoats in the team. It seems people are wanting to promote Baines to boo boy levels.

Rather than looking to individuals we should be looking at the system and how we are setup to play. Southampton changed there formation to nullify our attack with 5 at the back and attacked the gaps our fullbacks left with quick counter attacks. It's easy to predict how we will play, even the likes of Hull had it sussed.

We need to change it up, 4-3-3 would be interesting for us.

How about promoting the manager to boo boy levels, it is ultimately his responsibility and give the players a break.

I'd agree with that, people have worked out how to play us. Playing people in the wrong positions. I've no doubt he will sort it eventually but he is not currently learning from his mistakes.

Complete revamp of the formation and with it being the season of joy and goodwill we should play the Christmas tree formation.

In goal the reliable Buckaroo, his kicking and distribution is superb and he is fast off the line. In defence we have a late injury to our right back Micro Machines so have to call up the elderly Furby to fill in. At centre back i've gone for the aerial prowess of Pop-up-Pirate to combat the aerial ability of Crouch. AT-AT may be slow off the mark but at least he can turn faster than Alcaraz and his height will help at set pieces. Left back we have Lego who can provide the building blocks for our attack down the left hand side.

In midfield i've gone for engines, Hotwheels and Hornby trainset have got a hell of an engine and will put in a good shift. Making up the trio is the Action Man, he can use his stealth skills to break up attacks and win the ball back for us.

In the attacking midfield roles i've gone for Scaletrix, that lad will take commands superbly. I've put down a track for him and he will not deviate from it unless someone trips him up. Rubiks cube deserves a chance, he can cause the Stoke defence some problems with his trickery.

Upfront by himself is the X-Wing, he is picked because the millennium falcon has too many letter to fit into the name tag on formation creator.

@ijjysmith

It's still a bit far, he's off form. Not by any stretch of the imagination is he finished based on 4 poor performances.

Not said he's finished once. All I've done is given my opinion. Before his last four shocking performances I said I'd start Besic ahead of him and nothing has changed. IMO, besic is streets ahead of Barry. That's all.

Watching Stoke here, not convinced Everton passing it around the back line dithering on going forward is going to work out to well for. Stoke are a hard side, can see why a few teams that are better than us like City have struggled this season.

And most of their players are soz 'ard

I think the

did you watch him Saturday
At fault for the 2nd goal just lets clynne spin him so easily to get the cross in

The third he goes walk about and can't cover his CB
And makes a half hearted attempt to put the player who scores under pressure
And even late on headed out a really poor clearance straight to Davis who volleyed over
And let's not mention his corners
He was the best left in the prem
But hasn't been for 18months
And any one who says he still is

Is clueless in my opinion

Whos better than lad?

Garbutt?

Less
Clue

Everton football club. The only team in premiere league history to have it's 2 fullbacks man marked. ( could explain the fact they are quieter this season)

Baines is still the most experienced
But don't bury your head in the sand LAD!!!!!!!!!!!
He's with out doubt not performing to the level he was a year ago
And defensively he looks all over the place when was the last time a right back got the better of him like clynne did Saturday
And we have quality back up that derserve a chance Oviedo proved that last year and garbutt potentially looks a great prospect
But sadly by the some of the rumours going around garbutt won't be signing
And how long before oviedo gets pissed off

And in 18months we could be left with a 32yr left back and no cover
So we will then have to spend decent mooney on a left back
Or gamble on a cheap alternative

If the option is baines leaving and garbutt/Oviedo take over
Then that's the one I would go with
We aren't Chelsea or Man City where we can have expensive back ups
IE luis was he 23mil
And kolarov I thknk was about 17mil
And I bet both are close to being on 100k a week
We need to be cleverer in the transfer market
And loosing garbutt and maybe Oviedo would be a team and financial disaster

What have we done to deserve watching the likes of Crouch and Charlie f#cking Adam on Boxing Day.....we should be joyous and in festive spirit, not suffering watching them yard dogs.

Sound then
Innit lad
If Garbutt wants to
Koff and play for Newcastle
Or Something
Thats up to him
We would
Still
Have
Baines and Oviedo
Who needs the jarg
Bearded little
Weapon

Christ, everybody has
Gone mental
Over the lid cos
He threw a few
Half decent corners in
