That was a decent game. 87 Evertonians there! Garbutt was boss as the second half progressed and put in a peach of a free kick for everton's goal. Feeney was immense at the back. He is clearly going to have a future. Really getting back into the game towards the end. Unlucky to lose.
...chuffed Feeney impressed in open age football, he’s skipper of the U23s despite being one of the youngest and I noticed him training with the 1st team a month or so ago. I understand he still renews his Everton season ticket so it would be a great story if he comes through.
Also good to see Adeniran score, he came off in the first half of Friday’s U23 game.
