Alan Myer's would have had a different approach, and no doubt been in touch, sad to see so many give the club a pass on this one

I was kinda surprised (or I guess just pleased) by the lack of whoppers. Or at least Evertonian whoppers. I spose that many people in one place peacefully is pretty hard to pull off, and we more or less did it.

There can't be an investigation, you're right - it was French police and they made sure they had an excuse to go in with the batons and gas.
They'll always have a reason - this one guy selling drugs or something - and the city is gonna back them over a load of foreigners who can't complain much anyway cos they're going home the next day.

This is just my opinion, but I think it was like a free practice/training session to use the heavy riot gear for when Marseille are in town (or any other French, but probably them!)

Haha, write them a letter saying you won't be using your season ticket for a while, but you've had a scan and should be back for the Boxing Day game. Then in December write them another saying it's worse than you thought / recurrence etc and you'll hopefully be back in April lol
