They're basically calling us a small club and saying he needs to move to a club that would pressure him more. Idiots.

Lot of sense talked there (besides the cup prediction!). Good to see there's another view of the situation.

More Moyes is too good for Everton crap, I can't wait for him to sod off and fail massively at his next club, i'l laugh and luagh some more.

This was before Wigan. I'd be interested to see what the same people would say after that match.

Mirror journalists are always Manc based illiterates. Since the eighties they have liked to patronise Everton. Always finding something to explain any decent Everton team other than good players, good staff. even in the eighties they talked about our hard working style as though Liverpool when they used to win things and United don't work hard on top of the talent. Obsession with Moyes is a way of not talking about what the club has achieved in punching with style above its weight

Or you'll be gutted when he's competing at the top whilst we languish down the bottom.

maybe so but Everton made David Moyes, David Moyes did not make Everton and it's getting ridiculous all this "he's too good for Everton" bullshine, i'm sorry but nobody player or manager is bigger than this club especially a manager that has never won a fricking carrot in his tenure.

To be fair, both improved each other massively.

Of course no one's bigger than the club. Doesn't mean there's not a good chance we'll be a lot worse off without him.

Also doesn't mean we won'tl improve even further and who knows even win something a feat which has eluded this deity of a manager. This is the whole point nobody knows what will happen post david moyes but he is not the saviour of this football club, he's done an ok job nothing more nothing less. he's been to one cup final in 11 years that is all. I don't understand why people think we will just fall apart if he leaves.

whatever that means. We shall see, when he enforces his dour tactics on some other poor football club and bottles any chance at winning anything on every attempt he tries.

That's the comment of someone who has a total lack of both football knowledge & perspective IMO, so I'll leave you to wallow. Cheers.

there is too much obsession with managers generally in the game. most shine at clubs that just happen to suit their style and are developing in the right way. they can bring stability or they can destabilise a team in some circumstances. Moyes has done one and now needs to go before he does the other
