Only about 40 miles from my place. For sure, I'll be there. Don't know if it's possible to get tickets though. I said my English mate to look out for one or two extra tickets. I will also try my utmost to get tickets for the home-end. If not, I'll watch it in a pub in Liege. Somehow, I don't think I'll be the only Toffee doing that.

That's my plan also. It looks like one of my friends is driving. He's thinking of taking a day off at work. As he doesn't drink alcohol, he's my perfect partner for that day. If not, I'll take a train to Liege and drive home with another friend, who is actually a Liege fan. (poor [Poor language removed])

eindhoven wouldnt be too far would it ?
is there 1 in germany thats fairly close? as i was thinking amsterdam and train if all the belgium flights have gone.

Eindhoven, I think is about 1,5 hours from Brussels by train. (Ryanair)
Dusseldorf from London Stansted, don't know how the connection by train with Liege is. (Ryanair)
Dortmund from London Luton & Cologne(Bonn) from London Gatwick. Again, don't know how the connections with Liege are. (both EasyJet).
Will try to find out more.

Eindoven to Liege-Guillemins is almost 2 hours by train (change at Maastricht).
Problem here, is that Eindhoven airport is about 8 miles from the nearest train station, don't know of any busses going there.

Amsterdam Airport to Liege-Guillemins is something like 4 hours (Have to change at Brussel Noord). Can also change at Amsterdam Central- UtrechtCS-Maastricht-Liege/Guillemins. Is a little bit shorter but a lot of changing.

Cologne to Liege-Guillemins, (Lüttich in German) somewhere between 1h 20 mins to 2h 40mins (depends on the amount of changes).

Düsseldorf to Liege-Guillemins, somewhere between 2h 40mins to 3h15 mins.

Dortmund to Liege-Guillemins, something like 3h45 mins (3-4 changes).

the official coach trip looks a decent deal £95 with ticket, bet its near impossible to get on though.
that points system.... +26 aways for most points.
no chance for me on any official trips.
