He has a much bigger heart than osman. He reminds me of Osman, good footballing brain, technically adept, but may just fall a little short in the pace/power department that is a pre-requisite these days![]()

Your bang on mate. Academy coaches rated Walsh higher than Davies on ability but it's the physical side we're the question remains. I hear when at Yeovil the report back to everton was outstanding one were training was stopped and applauded after a chipped 35 yarder.Every time I have seen him play this season for the U23's he has been the standout performer, plays a similar role to Barry and Schneiderlin. Maybe not bigger enough and powerful enough for Koeman to try him yet, but certainly looks a player.
He's a cracking little player, but the bit in bold below sums it up ...
It's kind of annoying, you'd of thought we all learned a lesson with Peter Reid.Your bang on mate. Oh you are awful tommye, it's my older brother I have not seen the lad Walsh play yet - did you see Bobby Collins ?Has anybody mentioned he's like Bobby Collins?

I was told (by a lad off here actually) that Ledson left because of an issue with his dad who worked for the club.
I never saw Collins but Walsh reminds me of an older Paul Scholes. Williams is harder to pin down, he used to play as a defensive midfielder but has shown he's got a bit more to his game. He can tackle, press, works hard and quite a tall lad. A bit of an all action guy, hard to pinpoint who he reminds me of currently really. No-one special in all honesty, but someone who blends in and is quite effective.
But, in midfield we have Barry, Gueye, Schneiderlin, Davies and Barkley.....Walsh is unfortunate to have that kind of talent ahead of him.I don't think there is much difference in size to Walsh and Gana, I like Gana but Walsh can pass better and scores goals, not saying he is better than Gana, just that he deserves a chance, I think his size will not stop him from making a very good living out of football.

A season long loan at a good championship club would be ideal next season.

Looking at the youngsters Koeman's favoured from the U23's they are all pretty much tall, athletic types.
Perfect sort of side may be the likes of Barnsley or Bristol City or Brentford. A team good enough for the division with a manager who likes to give that sort of responsibity in midfield and not just stick a yard dog in there if results dont go there way.
Best option for walsh i think is a loan, go somewere were he can prove his stature will not hinder him and hopefully really shine. Come back and be part of the squad.
Problem is sometimes out of sight out of mind is a a bad thing sometimes.
LEdson is a good example of that
