Player Valuation: £70m
Ex Sunderland and Celtic player Liam Miller aged only 36 has been diagnosed with cancer. Rumours he only has days to live but at this time it's unconfirmed. Currently spending time in a hospice and has recently travelled to the states for chemotherapy.

Remember the lad being touted as a future star years ago.

Absolute tragedy which affects many people in every walk of life. Sending prayers to him and his family at this terrible time.

Yes he has cancer but that's the only part of the story that's true. He hasn't spend time in a hospice in Cork as he is still living in the United States, where he is having treatment.

Yeh I read it in the herald up in Scotland which that story case from. Also read today reports aren’t completely true. Either way he has the big C and hopefully he comes through it.

This whole thing unfortunately started in Cork. Liam is from here and played for us for one season before moving to the states. Every newspaper story printed has come from the same starting point. I first heard it last Friday and it was only a matter of time before somebody went looking for likes and retweets without ever getting the facts. The more misery you can put in these stories the more traction you get, unfortunately
