While I/we agree with all that mate, what we can't accept is that in these "Sky TV money days" where everyone is receiving at least 70m last Summer, and 100m the next one, we are once again ending the transfer window with a negative spend/profit. Not good enough. Not going to get anywhere at this rate.
I doubt many are expecting Abramovich style spending, but any spend would be great thanks

If anyone thinks we're not good enough to break into the top 6 then we've got the wrong Manager. By common opinion, we under performed last season and had a fraud as manager who couldn't set up a defence. This season, if the Manager is as good as everyone thinks, surely we should at least be challenging for top 5 or 6. That's what I expect anyway.

I like those stakes. Just got off the blower to Ronnie too, he's very invested in what people are saying on here and has agreed to walk in the event of a draw or loss

Concern would be we fall away between now and the next transfer window then we do nothing of real significance in Jan.

The manager is not a miracle worker it,s just that I don't trust the people off the pitch to support the team on the pitch without playing games or sell to buy.

Not the managers fault. Problem is we have key players with very low work rates /plain lazy - mirallis, delefeou, Barkley, and lukaku (he does score to be fair but otherwise looks half asleep most of the time).
