The squad is not great - not enough tacklers and not enough team players. The best ones are past 30 (with a couple of exceptions). Badly miss Bainesy.

But I prefer to judge us on what we deserve from the games - you can't play that well and lose 2-1 often. Granted we came up against a determined defence but we'll play less well and win those games more often than we draw or lose them.

We've got a really good manager and that's worth 10 points a season.

I think we have more points then we deserve this season.

Out of interest, what do you think will be done with him on his return? He's surely 4th (maybe 5th behind Cleverly *shudder*) in the pecking order and the Gueye/Barry partnership looks like it's going nowhere for the time being

Haha, no mate, hes 3rd choice, it then depends how Barry ages in the next 6 months.

Personally I think he will be surplus after the Summer transfer window and will be moved on sometime between now and 31st August 2017.

It depends what sort of player he is on hus return of course, but the injury he has finished Arteta.

A bit sad that, I really like the lad and he was looking like he was going to be a steal for a short time there. Wasn't he a centre half at some point in his career? Throw him in I say

For me he was a wonderful player and he really had a big future, sadly all these injuries will play on his mind and his body and its unrealistic to assume he will come back the same player.

There is off course a faint hope, so I will retain the faith, but it hurts.
