Lets get behind them........

Goodison park has always been rocking and bouncing and can make the players start having a go, I've seen it
hundreds of times, think back to three or four years ago, we played Man City, they wiped the floor with us in the first
half we were lucky to go off only one goal behind, the crowd got behind them whipped them up, and as the crowd
responded the crowd went more fanatical with our support. We won 2-1and the crowds noise and support had plenty to do with it, the supporters were happy not so much that we won but because we had a f-------g good go.

I could give many more examples and so could many of you, you've all seen it.

Our fans are more vocal in away games. No doubt about it. Atmosphere for home games varies. Loud-Yes quite often. Absolutely rocking- Rare these days.

I am totally behind the idea of the fans getting right behind the team and creating a rip roaring atmosphere.

And that is what we will do.

But the wole point of the fans whipping up a frenzy is so's the team will up the ante on the pitch and take the fight to the opponents.

This will not happen if we are treated to an opening half an hour of crab ball.

And every bugger who goes the match or follows it online know that to be the case.

It is not the fans who need to step up.

That is a given.

The manager needs to send out a team which will respond to us.

Howard gave a team talk before an early F.A. Cup round at Stoke City, I think, in 1984.

He walked in, opened the dressing room window and told his group of struggling players to listen to the Evertonians in the ground.

He then walked out.

The rest is history.

The fans can and will play our part.

Bobby needs to respond.
