Do you reckon if you merged all the Barton threads ever, it would outstretch the Mout thread?

I joined GOT purely to add my view on why we shouldn't get him a couple of years ago. I've changed my view since then and wouldn't be totally against looking into it. He's a bad ted and no mistake, he's not totally matured as you can see, but he's someone who gives 1000%, I don't think we'd have the terrible starts to a season with someone like him in the side

But I also agree with Nik, do we need someone like him causing off and perhaps on field chump like antics?? Hmm

Stumbling block is, I don't think he'd join us anyway= not massively bothered

Could be a bit of bottle sorely lacking in the team.
 
Barton must the be only bloke in history who's behavior improved after getting shipped to NUFC.

I love his game but wasn't he banned from the city for awhile? What's going to happen when he goes off the rails and gets re-banned? Its a shame because 99.9% of the time he's likable.

If Fellani or Arteta goes I would consider it, with a behavior clause. I think NUFC has the money to keep him anyway.

we r defo intrested in joey ,looks like villa will be r main rivals for him, i know were he wants to go ,gut feeling this is going to happen this time. my source thinks it will,over to you bally

thought this was a goer ,so did my source, it appears now moyes doesnt want anything to do with barton ,hence bartons statement on twitter,looks like it was barton who was pushing for the move not everton shame

I'd be super disappointed if it had anything to do with Anthony Walker's mum.

I'll always go by whatever Moyes says and does in the transfer market, but I just hope this was down to Barton as a player, and not because of his brother. Like I said, I'd be really disappointed if we missed out on a quality player because of potentially bad PR (ridiculous PR).
