Lescott....

Jagielka and Lescott were immense together. Lescott will hopefully settle in immediately (if he mends those bridges). Can play left back. Scores goals. His age is a problem. I'd still take him though

Wouldn't mind him coming back but only for the right price of course. Players esp CBs have a bit more footy life in them these days.

From what I've seen doesn't seem to have issues with our squad - they seem to talk a lot still

If we were getting Lescott, what would we do with the other CBs at the club?

Jags - keep
Heitinga - sell
Distin - 1 year contract as back up
Duffy - loan?

Thought he was a bit overrated as a center back, but his goal scoring ability made up for it. As a left back extremely underrated. At LB he just rubbed the wingers out of play (all the attacking plays against us went down our right side at Neville/Hibbert back then). Plus going forward he often muscled out lightweight wingbacks right to the touchline. It didn't look pretty but it sure was effective.

4M sure.

Think he would be a good signing at £4m.

Can't understand how he isn't making Shirry's first team.

City went on their run and shored up their D when Lescott was starting April/May. Is probably a better player when he knows he is starting every week (see: Heitenga).

Have him back tomorrow if I could...

And I think he will be back next year. Another in a long line of players who IF moyes could of kept wed be challanging VERY near the top now!

I'd have him back in a flash.

He'd be eager to prove himself to Evertonians again and we all know we've been shaky in the back.
