Wonder what wages he'll be on. The Dutch leagues don't break the bank so I imagine it'll be a decent pay rise.

I'd hazard a guess at £40k p/w.

Also anyone know how much Twente paid for him?

Can't see him being involved tomorrow. I can see him being presented to us on the pitch either before the game or at half time and told to soak up the atmosphere of Goodison under the floodlights.

we just mad losses of 9m thats where all of the excess transfer money went, this 8.6m is coming from future tv deal but im glad kenright is using it now. the theatre business would of took a battering over the summer due to the olympics.

the only problem is why a midfielder we loan out barkley and bring in fer??? with 8.6m you could of got a decent striker to play alongside jelavic and ease the pressure. If he is a replacement for fellaini then fair enough but why now and not in the summer, theres no guarantee anyone will meet his release clause, the midfield this season hasnt been a problem they have been playing consistently and chipping in with goals

or if not a striker then a RM, you dont have to be a genius to figure out where we need improving and it isnt the CM positions
The Rodwell, Cahill, Yobo money etc wouldn't have been in that financial year.

I think Barkley could have done a better job on the right side instead of Naismith. However I am still hopeing we get to see Naismith through the middle.

This Fer lad has been bought for his veratility. From what Ive read he seems to be able to play anywhere in central midfield from defensive to attacking. Sort of similar to Fellaini.

If it is a replacement for Felli in the summer I think its fantastic business to bring him in 6 months early. This way we get to see if Felli can be directly replaced by this guy and dont have to bed someone in at the statt of the season.

His play reminds me of Momo Sissoko with the addition of goals. Dont know whether thats a good or bad thing.

assuming any team matches his release clause, they havent in this transfer window, if we do make europe we then have the problem of do we/dont we play him in the qualifiers and get him cup tied, so its actually makes sense for teams to get him now.

Has he been spotted by anybody's mate/mum's best friends hairdresser getting a cab from JLA or in the local area looking for houses with a large garden big enough to accommodate a horse?
