To be honest mate, I don't really know, but I presume he just wants to increase his media exposure and the club are happy to help out a bit.
I did hear a month or three ago that there was a possibility of him becoming a club ambassador, but that seems to have gone very quiet.

Personnally, I'd make him an ambassador just to see Walken and the other Ossie haters fume.

Was a decent player and a big part of us getting 4th that season, used to pop up with goals
Then we kept playing him after he dropped off and out of position and that's why everyone remembers him as crap

Remember him being a late bloomer, only making the first team at the age of 23 or 24. Scrawny little runt he was but could pull a goal out of nothing. He did have the requisite skills and intelligence but lacked the physicality to pull it off consistently. Don't understand the 'rat' calls though, must have done something ala Stubbs that I missed.
