Not always, just saying like.

Remember that pea roller he hit against Larissa as well? And the daisy cutter v Brann. There's also that pathetic goal he gets when he feebles his way through the Sunderland team from the halfway line. His backpass tot heir keeper also somehow ended up in the top corner to set us off on the cup run v Macclesfield. Rubbish player who could never hit a decent shot, not like our free scoring decisive midfielders we have now who never get knocked off the ball, all have thunderous shots, and are all brilliant in every position even out wide.

He scored a beauty every now and then but 80% of his efforts were delicately placed into the keepers arms.

Anybody could score a couple of good goals if they played for us for 13 years. For 35 games a season he was turd. The very occasional decent goal didn't mask that.

I don't agree. You don't get the league finishes we did if a player is not turning up that often and offering nothing. I don't know whether it's because of fans dislike of Moyes or not but the players of that period seem to be criminally underrated. All of those midfielders at that time were more consistent than this current lot are.
