I don't get the hatred around Osman.

Yes he's leightweight, but he does try to do things in and around the box - something that we lack in Barry, McCarthy and Barkley.

Get Ossie on for the last 15/20 minutes when he is fresh,he can't start games nowadays IMHO,but he can still produce moments of magic as he proved the other night,quick of mind and great feet when the opposition is starting to tire.

If Luke Garbutt sticks around long enough he'll get it at some point, some Evertonians love to hate on the academy products all ways have done. Barkleys getting it now, Ratcliffe had it when he started out, even Big Joe and Colin Harvey used to get stick apparently.

Fairly sure that has 0 to do with where he came from and literally all to do with him being crap for the majority of this season.

Do you think if he was a twenty year old bought in last season he'd be getting as much grief as he does at the minute?

It's an unfortunate but common trait that we go very hard on our academy players, always have.

We've missed him in the games when teams come to park the bus. Say what you want about him, but he finds space well and can open up defences with those clever little reverse balls he plays. He might blow hot and cold but he can remedy quite a few problems we've experienced this season.

I do. It literally has nothing to do with him being from the academy. He could be from Mars for all I care - when he plays gash, let's call it so because it is so, not for some other speculative reason.
