Two GENUINE guys who give there ALL for EFC. Hope they have their best ever seasons for the blues. I can't ask those members who have an already preformed idea on their abilities to change. Just realise that these two have always wanted to do their very best for the club (unlike others, no space in here for inflated egos, wage packets etc....). Osman and Hibbert HAVE improved, Osman to the point of nearly running the show at Chelsea et al, more self belief and the lad will come good. And TB has improved beyond recognition under the guidance of Moyes', his crossing and awareness of when to support or not of responsibilities on the right made me applaud him . Give him a right winger of the capabilty of the likes of Peanut on the left and he could do a similar job to Bainsey. Good luck to both in a difficult season for either to be picked if injuries deem they play perfunctory roles. All teams have to rely on 'bit part' players. These two personify Everton in their willingness and aspirations.

Disagree. Hibbert will never be another Baines, ever. You can put Messi in front of Hibbert and Hibbert will still be Hibbert.

Love em both but would rather see them on the bench providing good backup.

I think Cal made that video

We don't have a better right back than Hibbert, so until we get one, the job is his isn't it? As for Osman, if he could play at his best every week, he would be worth a fortune. I'd like to see him in the middle more often. Not the most consistent player.

Neville is likely to play ahead of Hibbert when everyone's fit and available. He always has done.

When it comes to defending at right back, Hibbert is by far our best option.

When it comes to ______________ at right back, ________________ is our best option.

Im a big fan of Ossie, id always have him there or there about....

As for hibbert...... To be a good full back you have to do more that just defend...

My god pleeeeeaaaassseeee brng back the white nets at GP. Goals look so much better in them. Black nets actually ruin it.

Agree on Osman. His playing is like a rollercoaster. At his best he is a very good player, but likewise his lows are at par with bad PL players or even good championship class ones.

Hibbert... he has the heart and the will to do well, but sometimes his heart rules his head and therefore he make mistakes.

To be fair to Hibbert, although he isn't as good as Baines going forward, he is probably a better defender where the heart on your sleeve tackles are concerned. We can get by with Hibbert until a better option is found. I just pray Moyes doesn't put Neville at right back, as he has no pace at all.

People like Cahill, Neville and Howard who have come here, recognised the good in the club and become blues are great, but to have born and bred lifetime fans in and around the starting 11 is of intangible importance. Both of them have given us years and years and years of decent (not brilliant, but perfectly sufficient) service at this point, without demanding stupid wages, without putting the club down in the press, without spending months on end wrangling over an extra 10% on their contract, and without p!ssing off on a free as soon as they had an opportunity. What's more, even when Everton have a bad season, you didn't see either of our lads walking around for a full year in a sulk, head down, shoulders slumped and clearly not giving a flying toss. They've fought for our club every time they've pulled on the jersey, and I'd have either of them over that local thug across the park any day.
